About us

The village of Barton St David is situated about 5 miles south east of Glastonbury and Street and about 5 miles north east of Somerton.
It has a population of approximately 540 and just over 200 dwellings.
There is a Parish Church (St David), and a pub (The Barton Inn).
There is a 'bus service several times a day on weekdays and Saturdays
to Street and Wincanton.

Village activities are centred around the Church, the 'pub, the
Village Hall and the Playing field.

The village has a Parish Council which meets monthly. Meetings are open to the public.
