Special Events

PLAY DAY

WEDNESDAY 4 th AUGUST 11am – 4.30pm

BARTON ST. DAVID VILLAGE HALL & PLAYING FIELD

Weather permitting ; we plan to hold a picnic (not provided) and fun day as part of the National Playday scheme (see www.playday.org.uk ).

The village hall will be open and refreshments (tea, coffee and fruit squash) will be available throughout the day . This is a family event and we hope to provide activities for children from toddlers to teenagers. Eg: tennis, football, basketball, rounders, team games, races, pre-school games & activities, scooters, bikes & trikes for under fives and many more.

Volunteers willing to help with this event, able to organise team games, tennis coaching and activities, or those requiring further details, should contact Barbara King (850897), Laura Worth ( 07769 506722) or Alison Browne (851242)
